Turmeric Juices

Turmeric once juice can be added to juice combinations, soups, dressings and more to aid and support the body in reducing inflammation. The immune system needs to be supported with daily anti-inflammatory compounds in order to reduce the stress of the daily experience of life on the body and function optimally. When juicing fresh turmeric you unlock the vital curcumin it contains and allow your body to benefit from the bio-active compounds of this medicinal food! Try these easy juice combinations to begin to see the benefits of this powerful root!

Chef Tip: To prepare your Turmeric for juicing, clean the root well with fresh clean water. If using a cold press, like the Slowstar® it’s not necessary to remove the skin which contains many trace minerals that support your health. Once cleaned refrigerate until ready to juice.

Tumeric Sunshine
  • 2 inches fresh turmeric root
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 orange, skin removed

Spicy Turmeric
  • 2 inches fresh turmeric root
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root
  • 1 red bell pepper, stemmed and de-seeded
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 green apple

Turmeric Chai Vegan Milk
  • 2 inches fresh turmeric
  • 1 cup raw coconut or cashew milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut nectar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 pinch sea salt

You can also juice your Turmeric in advance if using a cold press and in this case we recommend storing it in an airtight mason jar for up to 3 days!
